Fall Savers Connect Monitor Fall Alert System with Bed Sensor Pad
The Fall Savers Connect Monitor Fall Alert System with Bed Sensor Pad offers a comprehensive fall prevention package for elderly patients and those who are prone to accidents when moving unassisted. Featuring a pressure-sensitive bed sensor pad and connect monitor with the option to play a recorded message to calm the patient, this system ensures that carers are able to respond immediately and at all times.
What's Included?
Record Messages in a Familiar Voice
Most patients who are prone to accidental falls and unassisted wanderings suffer from dementia. The Connect Monitor provides the option to record a message in the patient's native language or by their family member for clear and friendly instruction, reminding them not walk without help. The message can be played if and when the patient leaves the bed.
Additionally, the monitor also features a choice of eight built-in alert tones, which can be played on their own or in addition to the voice message.
Never Run Out of Power
Although the Connect Monitor comes with a 9V battery for situations where there is no wall socket nearby, it does not guarantee a continuous supply as batteries might run out unexpectedly. To ensure not interruption in fall prevention monitoring, the package includes a mains power adaptor which can be used to connect to a wall socket for non-stop power supply.
Connects to a Nurse Call System
The fall alert system can also be connected to a range of nurse call or paging systems via the connect monitor and a ¼-inch female jack on the side, enabling it to be used to trigger a silent alert. A wide variety of nurse call cable splitters and adaptors are available, allowing you to customise your monitor to work with whatever existing nurse call system is used in your care home.
Foldable Bed Sensor Pad Included
The sensor pad is extremely thin and almost undetectable. For best results, it is placed on top of the mattress and under the cover or sheet. It works by detecting pressure change when the patient leaves the bed. The sensor activates the monitor or nurse call system, allowing carers to quickly respond in order to ascertain the patient's safety. For added convenience and versatility, this pad can also be unfolded, increasing the pressure-sensitive surface area.
