Use the SitWalk Patient Sitting Aid to easily reposition patients further back into chairs or wheelchairs so that they can be sat at a more comfortable position. The strong and safe construction provides a good supporting wide surface without pressing into the patient, whilst the four handles on each side allow flexibility and enable a correct working position by one or multiple carers.

Safely Adjusting Sitting Positions

The SitWalk is named after the method of moving a user backwards in a chair or wheelchair to a more comfortable seated position. In order to do this, lean the user sideways and gently pull on the Sitting Aid, moving one buttock at a time to facilitate a hip-hitch movement. For additional support, a FootStool Patient Transferring Aid can also be placed beneath the user's feet to raise their knees and reduce pressure underneath the thighs as they are being moved.
