Should defibrillation be required, the Stat-Padz II electrode features improved polymer gel. This works to enhance lateral conductivity, resulting in less skin effects. A centre energy feed distributes energy uniformly to reduce edge effect, and a gel sponge backing promotes better skin coupling.
