Drive Eros Analogue Pressure Relief Mattress and Cushion Pump
Standardising equipment so that staff only have to be trained on one system will help save time and money, and prevent any accidental errors from occurring. The Drive Eros Analogue Pump for Pressure Relieve Mattresses and Cushions is compatible with multiple pressure relief systems, allowing staff to swap out mattresses and cushions without having to use an entirely new system.
This analogue pump is also available in a digital version.

How Does the Eros Mattress Pump Help Prevent Pressure Sores?
The Drive Eros Mattress Pump prevents pressure sores by shifting the patients weight every 10 minutes. It does this by alternating the inflation level of each cell within a pressure relief mattress. In doing so, the pump continually changes the patients laying position to prevent the development of pressure sores.
Why Choose the Theia and Eros Pump Range?
The Theia and Eros Pump range offers greater choice and flexibility when caring for patients who are at a higher risk of developing pressure sores. Each pump is compatible with multiple different pressure relief systems, ensuring versatile care that's streamlined through the same operation system.
Why Is Standardisation Important?
When using equipment made by different manufacturers, costly or potentially harmful errors are more likely to occur. By utilising an interchangeable pump system that works with a variety of mattresses, the Eros and Theia Pump range helps standardise training and competency programs so that less mistakes are made.
How Many Modes Are There?
The Drive Eros Mattress Pump has three modes of operation. These three modes are as follows:
- Alternating Mode: Alternates air pressure in 12 minute intervals.
- Static Mode: Used for transporting the mattresses or when performing CPR.
- Comfort/Pressure Mode: Allows manual adjustment of pressure level.
Should I Buy the Theia or the Eros Pressure Relief Pump?
There are two pumps to choose from when using the Theia and Eros Pressure Relief System. The main differences between each are outlined below.
- Theia Pressure Relief Pump: Digital operation, digital display, precise pressure selection, power failure alarm, auto-lock.
- Eros Pressure Relief Pump (This Version): Analogue operation, dial display.
Which Mattresses Are Compatible With the Eros Mattress Pump?
The Drive Eros Mattress Pump is compatible with three different types of mattress, giving carers the ability to interchange the type of pressure relief depending on the needs of the patient. What's more, because all the mattresses work on the same pump system, there's no need to train staff on how to operate each one.
The three mattresses compatible with this pump include:
- Drive Mattress Overlay: The dynamic Mattress Overlay option is positioned on top of the existing support surface to provide additional pressure redistribution.
- Drive Air-On-Foam Mattress: An Air on Foam Replacement Mattress design offers pressure redistribution and is suitable for use with profiling beds.
- Drive Air-On-Air Mattress: Full Air (Air on Air) Replacement Mattresses offer benefits in a setting where individuals are at high risk of skin breakdown and require an immersive support surface.
Which Cushions Are Compatible with the Eros Pump?
The Eros Pump can be used with a pressure relief cushion as well as mattresses. This provides even greater versatility when caring for patients with a high risk of developing pressure sores. Learn more about the Theia and Eros Pressure Relief Cushion below.
