What Does the Chart Being Revised Mean?
Revised ETDR logMAR charts were designed following visual acuity examinations of 7420 eyes during an ETDRS study. The revised chart shows a change in difficulty score from the original chart for each of the Sloan letters included. The arrangement of letters on the revised charts have also been changed from the original versions.
Revised logMAR charts, including this model, are not suitable for use in studies sponsored by the American National Eye Institute.
