The ADER3000 Revolutionises the Detection of Ingested Batteries

In 2014, the NHS released a patient safety alert warning of the risks in the delayed recognition and treatment of ingested button batteries in children. In 2024, the World Journal of Pediatrics released a study revealing the severe impact of button battery ingestion in small children, highlighting that the delay in diagnosis and treatment is a significant factor in determining the outcome. A deep-tissue metal detector with high-performing sensitivity to metal buried within body cavities would drastically reduce diagnostics time allowing professionals to allocate treatment with no delay.

Where Can You Use an Internal Body Metal Detector?

Whilst an Internal Body Metal Detector has innumerable benefits in healthcare settings by accelerating diagnostics and A&E wait times, it is also well-served in a wide range of public settings where there are a concentrated number of people, including but not limited to:

  • Hospitals
  • Care Homes
  • Courtrooms
  • Prisons
  • Airports
  • Schools
  • Government Buildings
  • Nightclubs
  • Events
  • Festivals
  • Stadiums
  • Concerts
  • Arenas

Three Year Warranty for Added Security

This range of metal detectors comes with the added security of a 36 month warranty. Manufactured to the highest and most stringent standards, you can be confident your product will last a lifetime. In the unlikely event of failure due to defective parts, you can return your metal detector for an immediate service, with a guaranteed hassle-free process.

Ultra Sensitive AD Range with High Definition Technology

The ER3000 model is part of the Ultra AD series employing expert technology to provide a metal detector with better than 0.03g detection mass. Currently the highest-performing handheld metal detectors on the market, this new level of performance displays super-high sensitivity, pinpoint accuracy and the ability to expose mere fragments and shards of metal buries deep within the body.

Internal Metal Detection for Rapid Diagnosis

Children often play unsupervised and it can be hard to watch their every move. Sometimes you may be uncertain as to what your child has ingested and need a rapid diagnosis to determine whether they are in danger. An internal body scanner revolutionises hospital care and provides an error-free and swift detection that reduces the workload of caregivers and minimises wait times.

Act Fast and Save Lives With the ER3000

If you do suspect your child may have unknowingly swallowed a battery, time is critical. A typical procedure in a hospital would result in an x-ray being taken which can often take up to 30 minutes or an hour. With the ER300 Internal Body Metal Scanner, you can detect fragments of metal within the body in seconds, allowing medical professionals to accurately and instantly determine a suitable course of action.

No Risk to Pregnant Women, Pacemakers or Equipment

Unlike many other ultra-sensitive metal detectors, the AD18 poses no risk to pregnant women or those with pacemakers. Additionally, it has no interference to magnetic recorded material, making it a suitable choice for use in hospitals when there is a high volume of vulnerable individuals and specialised equipment.

How Long Is the Battery Life?

Constantly changing batteries for handheld devices is a pain. The ER3000 has been engineered to last up to an outstanding four years with daily use on a standard 9v battery due to the ultra low operating current whilst no metal is present. With a sophisticated LED alarm, the device will alert to a low battery, removing the risk of it dying unexpectedly.
