The Alerta Bed Wedge is a medical bedding device used to facilitate head, shoulder, and arm movement of patients who are bed-bound. Its sloped design also allows for elevating the lower leg, or achieving good postural positioning when sitting or reclining in bed (depending on the size chosen).

What Sizes Are Available?

To suit various requirements the Alerta Medical Patient Positioning Wedge is available in three sizes and with the following dimensions:

• Small: 30 x 30 x 7.5 - 2.5cm
• Medium: 60 x 60 x 17.5 - 5cm
• Large: 60 x 60 x 25 - 5cm

Is the Alerta Bed Wedge Waterproof?

Yes, the Alerta Positioning Wedge is coated with a non-permeable material which prevents any bodily fluids or liquid matter from reaching its internal foam. This makes the bed wedge particularly suitable for patients with urinary incontinence.

Antibacterial and Easy to Clean

Helping to prevent the spread of germs in medical or care home environments the Alerta Bed Wedge is antibacterial. However, should the wedge become dirty its non-permeable material allows for an easy wipe-down.

This Item Is Not Returnable On Grounds Of Hygiene
