Designed for overall ease of use and practicality, the Bure Rise & Go has electrical adjustment functions for the width and height of the frame. Operated by an uncomplicated hand control, these adjustments allow carers to adapt the mobility aid for different patients and for moving around small spaces in hospitals or at home, as well as widening or narrowing to accommodate different sized wheelchairs, beds and chair designs.

Nurses at Stockholm's Karolinska University Hospital have expressed how useful Bure walkers have been in their maternity ward. The study included at the bottom of this page documents the experience of the Head of Care in the maternity ward, Kerstin Sjöblom, whose team find that the walkers encourage pregnant mothers to move around more, as well as being a support to lean on during contractions. Activated by hand control, the flexible harness gently supports the patient while the rise function moves them into an upright position. Users can then hold the frame and begin walking, or if using for transfers, make sure the patients feet are placed on the platform before beginning the sit to stand movement.
