How Do I Fold Down the Wheelchair?
This wheelchair is easy to fold down for travel, and requires no tools. Simply follow these steps:
- Identify the release levers at the handles, footrests and under the chair
- Release the levers at the foot rests and lift them off the chair
- Release the levers at the handles and tip them downwards
- Release the crossbars underneath the chair and push the two sides inwards
When you are finished, your chair should look like this:

As the Days Wheelchair is self-propelled, users can operate it without the aid of a carer, helping to boost independence. This poses a greater risk if they were to fall out of their chair, so a safety seat belt is included for added safety.
