There is also a safety key built into the hand controller to prevent movement and entrapment, for further peace of mind. This Chicago model has also been tested to BS 5852 Ignition Source 5 (Crib 5), making it ideal for nursing and care home environments.
How Can the Riser Function Help Me?

What Is the Function of Anti-Microbial PVC?
Anti-microbial fabric protects against the spread of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and mould. This chair is covered with anti-microbial PVC which is incredibly easy to clean, preventing the spread of illnesses between patients and generally improving hygiene in the home or care facility.

No - the Drive Chicago Armchair is designed especially for discreet operation. The motor is exceptionally quiet, providing a smooth transition between positions without disturbing other care home residents.
Why Does the Restwell PVC Chair Include Two Hand Controls?
Unlike the Rembrandt fabric models which can be found below, this PVC model comes with two handsets. The three-button handset allows the chair to rise and recline, whilst the two button handset allows the chair to recline only. This will help to avoid accidental rising, making operation incredibly easy for your patient.
