Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint

This finger splint allows for proper alignment during the healing process of the finger. In addition, the Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint uses an angled distal pad to reduce pressure, giving complete surface contact on the middle phalanx. It then works by holding the Proximal Interphalangeal (PIP) joint into extension, while allowing for minimal extension of the Metacarpophalangeal joint (MCP) for exercise for a quick, painless recovery.

The Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint is available in five sizes. To determine the correct size for you, please measure from the distal palmar crease to the distal finger crease as illustrated below.

When to Use a Finger Splint

This splint provides dynamic force to assist the PIP into extension with minimal extension of the MCP joint. This is helpful for a number of issues:

• PIP tightness
• Boutonniere deformity

The Rolyan Sof Stretch Finger Extension Splint has an angled distal pad, which reduces pressure by providing complete surface contact on the middle phalanx. It is easy to use, featuring a "P" on the proximal pad to remind the patient to apply the splint with the "P" near the palm.
