What Organs Can Be Removed on this Model?

The right half of the larynx provided with the Erler-Zimmer Cardiopulmonary System Model can be removed in order to allow for a clear view of its internal structures, as is the heart and the left lung. The internal structure of the lung includes the bifurcation of the trachea and bronchial tree, the pulmonary artery, and the veins.

Bisected Heart

The heart provided with the Cardiopulmonary System Model can also be halved to allow for a view of the four chambers and valves allowing for the demonstration of the blood flow through the heart. Blood flow throughout the cardiopulmonary system can be traced using the Cardiopulmonary System Model as it also includes all major blood vessels.

Educational Key Card
