What Does the Erler-Zimmer Dental Training Model Consist Of?

To bring realism into the classroom and dental clinics, the Erler-Zimmer Training Model has been designed to replicate that of an actual human mouth, and so consists of the following:

Who Is This Dental Study Model Designed For?

This dental model can be used by trainee dental students to practice the correct brushing techniques, as well as further support dental studies. However, dentists can also keep this model in dental clinics to show patients, particularly young children, how to brush correctly.

The Erler-Zimmer Dental Model represents the upper and lower half of an adult's dentition, and has been enlarged to 1.5 times its regular size. The large size of the model makes this model suitable for demonstrations of the correct oral hygiene practice.

Toothbrush Included

This Erler-Zimmer Dental Care Model has the added benefit of an included toothbrush which matches the size of the dentition. The toothbrush can be used to show patients and children the correct brushing techniques, as a person would on an actual mouth.

Easy Handling

With this model there are is no awkward holding of the model whilst performing demonstrations. The model can be easily held from the back with one hand, whilst the other hand is left free to hold the toothbrush for demonstrating correct brushing.

Can This Model Demonstrate Movement?

No, this model is not flexible and so will not demonstrate any opening or closing of the mouth. The model is purely designed for teaching correct brushing techniques with its open mouth.
