Which Skeleton Parts In This Model Are Moveable?
To demonstrate the natural movements of the human skeleton, the arms, legs, and spine of this model are entirely moveable. The shoulder, hip, knee and ankle are also mounted as sliding joints to demonstrate natural life-like movement.
Flexible Moveable Spine
This Erler-Zimmer Skeleton Model Fred features a fully mobile skeletal column, which is mounted on a robust yet incredibly flexible metal spiral hose for maximum durability and flexibility. Skeleton Fred's flexible spine allows for normal postures, malpositions, and malpostures to be accurately demonstrated. The special intervertebral discs supplied allow for the spine to be rotated as well as flexed, thus, behaving like a real spine and bringing in the realism needed for physiotherapy professionals.
Marked Muscled Origins and Insertions
The Erler-Zimmer Skeleton Model Fred comes complete with markings along the right-hand side indicating the origins of the muscles (shown in red) and the muscles insertion points (shown in blue); these markings have been developed along with a physiotherapy academy to comply with the needs of physiotherapists.
Which Skeleton Parts In This Model Are Removable?
Both the arms and legs of this model are detachable, with the legs being able to be detached at the knee and ankle. The model also includes a 3-part skull which can be removed and dismantled for an in-depth study of the cranium.
Where Can I Place This Anatomical Skeleton Model?
Whether for displaying in the office, or used for performing anatomy demonstrations at educational establishments, this skeleton model comes with a stand so that it may be placed practically anywhere. The half-life size of this model, as well as the stand, also allows for easy transportation from room-to-room in order to support different classes.
What Size Is this Erler Zimmer Skeleton Model?
As a scaled down reproduction of the human skeleton, this Erler-Zimmer Model Skeleton won't take up as much space as a full-sized skeleton model would. Skeleton Model Fred is roughly half-life sized and is classed as 'miniature' making it great for saving space in the classroom or doctor's office.
