Who Can Use the Etac Immedia MultiGlide Sheet with Handles?

The MultiGlide sheet is designed to provide a convenient and safe method of patient transfer. Ideal for patients with limited mobility, the sheet can be placed under key pressure points to reduce friction during manual handling. Suitable applications include:

How Do I Use the Immedia Patient Transfer Sheet?

To discover how best to use this product, please follow the instructions below.

1. If you wish to apply the MultiGlide from the head end, start by folding the end where the handle is placed.
2. Place the sheet so that the open part is facing away from the user and the folded part placed under the pillow and shoulders.
3. To move the user higher up in bed, bend the user’s legs, grasp the handles and put yourself in a 'walking position' with one foot in front of the other.
4. Use the weight transfer to move the user higher up. 
5. Always remove the sheet from under the patient after use.

Washing Instructions

This product can be washed in machine up to 80°C. Do no use fabric softener, bleach or dry clean. Tumble dry and iron on a low heat.
