How Does the Etac 2D Base Sheet Reduce Friction?
The Two Direction Base Sheet is a traditional base sheet with a slide area to allow easy side-to-side positioning in bed. If your client is prone to chafing or discomfort on the legs as they get in and out of bed, this sheet is an excellent aid for improving their comfort, and can even reduce the risk of pressure sores.
Why Is the Satin Area Wider At the Bottom of the Sheet?
This sheet includes a full-length, low-friction satin area in the centre to allow patient turning. The top half of the sheet features a cotton and polyester side border to prevent falling and allow patients to sit on the edge of the bed. The lower half of the sheet, however, is borderless in order to enable more independent users to slide their legs in and out of bed.
Care Instructions
The Etac 2D Two Direction Base Sheet is suitable for machine washing at 80°C. Please note that fabric softener or bleach should not be used on this product. The sheet can be tumble dried but should not be dry cleaned, and is suitable for ironing on a low heat.
