Who Can Use the Socky Compression Stocking Aid?

The Socky Aid is ideal for patients with limited hand strength and mobility, or those who need to reduce the friction between the sock and the floor. It can be used for different lengths and types of support and compression stockings, consisting of two nylon fabric sections that connect with Velcro. Each part has a handle to grip and pull the stocking over the foot and leg.

How Do I Use the Etac Socky Stocking Aid?

The support stocking can firstly be placed on the Socky. The fabric parts will divide when you pull up the stocking, these handles also enabling a carer to assist in the process. An example of correct application is shown in the image below.
