Easily identifiable due to the bright yellow straps, the seat helps patients to transfer from a wheelchair to an evacuation chair. The seat lies flat, allowing a user to slide onto it. When tension is then passed through the straps, the sides of the seat elevate to allow the patient to be safely transferred across.
