How Do I Connect the Transmitter to My Sensor Mat?

The Wireless Transmitter is very easy to connect to your Treadnought Hybrid Mat. Please note that an additional pigtail connection lead is needed only if you intend to connect your mat through wires to your Fall Prevention Monitor.

Who Can Use the Wireless Transmitter?

The Fall Savers Wireless Monitor attaches directly to your Treadnought Hybrid Sensor Mat to send a signal to your Fall Savers Wireless monitor to alert carers as soon as a patient falls or steps on the mat. Eliminating the chance of wear and tear to wires as well as the tripping hazard they provide, this is an ideal option for care teams looking to upgrade their fall prevention strategy with wireless products.

What Do I Need to Connect My System Wirelessly?

To use this Wireless Transmitter to connect your system as mentioned above, you will need:

• Treadnought Hybrid Nurse Call Sensor Mat – To detect when a patient steps or falls on your desired placement area
• Fall Savers Wireless Floor Pad Transmitter (This product) – To send the signal from the mat to the monitor
• Fall Savers Wireless Fall Prevention Monitor – To read the signal and alert care staff of the detected step or fall

How Does the Wireless Fall System Reduce Work for Care Staff?

By providing the option to eliminate the cables between the monitor and sensor pads, this Floor Pad Transmitter has several advantages for care staff over conventional connections:

• Reduces upkeep as wires will not wear and sensor can not be pulled onto the floor
• Reduces care time to eliminate the tripping hazards caused by wires

How Many Sensor Mats Can I Connect?

This transmitter allows connection of up to two fall sensor pads at once. This allows both a fall prevention and wandering prevention strategy at once, as a mat can be placed at a bedside, and another at a doorway or threshold.

Delivery Expectations

This product is usually delivered by 24 hour courier. For orders that are placed before 2pm Monday to Friday, your order should usually be dispatched the same day for next working day delivery.

Delivery is free for orders over £65 (ex VAT) to UK mainland addresses. For all other UK orders, delivery is only £4.95 (ex VAT).

Delivery Charges

Some larger or heavier orders will be couriered to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands or UK offshore islands. In these cases, we may need to contact you to arrange for a courier supplement charge, but only if your order is one that requires a courier and you live in Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands or UK offshore islands.

Where a delivery expectation is not stated, we will dispatch the goods as quickly as possible, normally within 24 to 48 hours on working days, so that you receive your medical supplies promptly.
