Flexible Hygiene Lifting Sling

The Flexible Hygiene Lifting Sling follows the contours of the body to give patients full support and a sense of security as they are being lifted. It has been designed for use in most common lifting situations, such as sitting transfers between bed and wheelchair, and also has a commode opening to facilitate transfers in connection with toileting. The undivided leg supports make it easy to lift users with deformities or those who need additional head support.

This sling is flexible and pliable around the body in order to provide the patients with a sense of security that they are being lifted safely. It has been created to facilitate common seated transfers, such as from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, and also has a commode opening for transfers in connection with toileting. In addition, the sling is also great for lifting users from a recumbent position on the floor.

Airy Polyester Net Material

The sling is made from n breathable, polyester net fabric that has been created to be left under the patient after transfer, particularly in a wheelchair or moulded seat, meaning that the user remains sitting on the sling until they need to be lifted again. The sling is machine washable and can withstand high temperatures of up to 85° during laundering.

Which Hoists Can I Use the Sling With?

This sling is designed with loop fixings. It is designed for easy and secure attachment to all hoists with loop fixing compatibility.

Sizing of the Flexible Hygiene Lifting Sling

The Flexible Hygiene Sling is available in a choice of six sizes to accommodate different users, and is adaptable to be used in both 2- and 4-point suspension. It is essential to check that the width of the Sling Bar is appropriate for the sling size and the patient’s status and capacity.
