To put it simply, it doesn't. The Hospital Recovery Chair has no attachments or fastenings to worry about. Simply place the chair on any hospital bed, adjust it to the appropriate position and it's ready to go.

Can I Sleep Upright with This Back Rest?

This is an excellent solution for sleeping upright in bed. Unfortunately, sleeping upright can cause neck pain. To prevent this, we recommend using a neck support or travel pillow if you are going to be sleeping upright.
