Compact with Tool-Free Storage
To take up less room when stored, the Invacare Birdie Hoist can be easily folded and unfolded to the compact size shown in the image below. If you want to take up even less room, the mast and boom of the lifter can even be detached from the base for storage – all without the use of tools. As the unit only weights 31kg, folding, disassembly and storage can usually be completed by a single carer.
