How Should I Wear the Jura Arm/Shoulder Immobiliser?

How Can the Arm/Shoulder Sling Help Me?
The shoulder sling exerts force along the length of the forearm, wrist, and hand. However, by creating a fulcrum point at the level of the proximal forearm, the downward weight of the hand and distal forearm pushes the elbow and humerus upward and provides a more efficient transmission of force.
Is The Jura Shoulder Immobiliser Machine Washable?
This immobiliser is not suitable for machine washing, please hand wash using a mild detergent and leave to air-dry.
When Is an Immobiliser Better Than a Standard Sling?
Injuries around the shoulder, upper arm and collarbone are best treated with a shoulder immobiliser, while injuries on the lower arm, wrist and hand are better suited to an ordinary arm sling.
