Who Can Use the Erler Zimmer Wound Moulage?
This wound moulage is a fantastic resource for teaching how to properly care for a gun wound. Featuring an entrance and exit wound, it encourages trainees to conclude that the bullet has passed through the arm, rather than becoming lodged in it. They can then use this important detail to inform their course of treatment.
What Is the Benefit of a Realistic Moulage?
As an injury's appearance is such a vital part of diagnosis, a medically accurate fake wound can be far more beneficial to a trainee than a lower quality alternative. Additionally, realistic simulations are more likely to evoke emotional and psychological responses in trainees, and can therefore help prepare them mentally for authentic trauma scenarios.

How Do I Apply the Bullet Wound Moulage?
As it is self-adhesive and pre-painted, the Erler Zimmer Bullet Wound Moulage for the arm simply needs to be fixed to a model before use. During application, just make sure the entrance and exit holes are properly lined up on either side of the arm (fake blood can be added via the bleeding line for greater realism).
How Does the Artificial Blood Line Work?
This wound moulage comes with a bleeding function that consists of a fusion bag connected to a clear tube. To 'bleed' the moulage, this bag simply needs to be filled with artificial blood (sold separately), then can be pressed during the simulation to create a bleeding effect.
Can This Arm Moulage Be Applied to Skin?
Featuring its own self-adhesive, this moulage is suitable for immediate application to either skin or a manikin. For longer periods of training or exercises where stronger adhesive is required (e.g. if the model will be moving a lot) extra glue can be purchased separately.
Where Can I Purchase Accessories For This Moulage?
Artificial blood and skin glue can be purchased to be used with this products. They are also available from our site and can be found by clicking the links below:
How Big Is This Arm Wound Moulage?
This fake wound moulage has an approximate size of 28.5 x 15 x 1.5cm, which is perfect size for wrapping around the upper arm. As it is fairly thin and supplied in a protective box, it is also easy to carry, store and transport.
