Pulse oximeters work out the oxygen saturation by comparing how much red light and infrared light is absorbed by the blood. As the world's smallest fingertip oximeter, the Onyx II Oximeter does in virtually instantly, providing clinically proven results wherever you need them. The device will automatically switch on when you put it on your finger; all you need to do is wait for your reading.
What Does the 9550 Finger Pulse Oximeter Display?
The 9500 Onyx II Pulse Oximeter offers a series of information to help to you obtain accurate readings of a patient's health. The following details are displayed:
- SpO2: this shows the current oxygen saturation percentage.
- Pulse Rate Display: this is indicated by the little heart symbol, displaying the pulse rate in pulses per minute.
- Pulse Quality Display: the LED light indicates if there is a poor signal or if no signal is present at all.
