How Does the Parafricta White Single Sheet Work?

This low-friction bedsheet is specially designed to provide protection to skin where there is a risk of friction and associated shear damage (e.g. acute agitation, healing burns, fragile skin conditions).

This product is ideal for bedbound patients who are at a higher risk of developing pressure sores. It may provide increased comfort for users with skin conditions irritated by contact with conventional, less smooth sheets.

How Do I Use the White Pressure Relief Fitted Bedsheet?

This bedsheet features a low-friction panel (centre) with a high-quality polycotton rim. The woven label on the sheet indicates the top side and top end. The panel should be located under the trunk of the user and the heels (if being used for skin protection). If the sheets are being used to aid self-repositioning, the heels should rest on the polycotton rim. See the image below for visuals.

What Size Is the Pressure Sore Bedsheet?

This bedsheet has a length of 174cm and a width of 74cm. This is suitable for a standard single bed mattress (190 x 90cm).

How Do I Clean the Parafricta Single Bedsheet?

This product should be washed in a hot (60ºC) synthetics cycle in a domestic washing machine, or on a 95ºC cycle if maximum sanitisation is required. Line dry or tumble dry on a low, synthetic cycle setting. In a professional laundry, the sheets may be washed on a cycle that includes 70ºC for up to 10 minutes, or at 95ºC cycle if maximum sanitisation is required.
