With its sturdy construction and higher weight capacity, the Safety Chair EV-7000 Bariatric Evacuation Chair assists with evacuation of bariatric passengers in the event of an emergency situation. Additional handles on this evacuation chair allow up to four people to help carry a bariatric passenger up and/or down the stairs in order to get them to safety.

Bariatric Evacuation Chair for Stairs

With a maximum weight capacity of 250kg (550lbs), the Safety Chair EV-7000 is able to assist with the downward and upward evacuation of larger or heavier passengers. The chair can also be used for the upward and downward evacuation for non-bariatric people.

The chair's anti-slip height adjustable handle and lightweight construction allows for effortless operation, with minimal moving and handling required. The chair even allows small operators to transport passengers larger than their size, making it suitable for a variety of people to use.

The main safety features on Safety Chair EV-7000 Evacuation Chair include adjustable self-braking tracks that control the speed of descent during operation down the stairs, industrial lockable rear castor wheels in the event the chair must be stationary, additional sturdy front and rear lifting handles, and reflective decals for easy location of the chair in emergency situations. Helps Disabled Passengers Feel Secure in Transit

Emergency evacuations are never easy or fun situations for anyone, but particularly for a disabled user who has to rely on someone else to keep them safe. • A head support with immobilisation strap to limit movement and secure the passenger
• A quick release four-point harness that secures the passenger and allows them to be quickly taken out of the chair if needed
• Adjustable seating, which allows the ideal passenger seating position of either a flat seat or hammock

Fire Evacuation Chair

In the event of a fire evacuation specifically the EV-7000 is made of fire-retardant materials. Fire or flame retardant fabrics are chemically treated to slow down the spread of fire and reduce the intensity of flames, making them less likely to ignite and safer in case of a fire.

Easy-To-Store Design

The Safety Chair EV-7000 has an easy-to-store design that not only saves space, but most importantly allows for rapid reach in the event of an emergency. The chair can either be folded away, or may be wall-mounted using the provided wall-mounting hooks.
