Increased Safe Working Load and Couch Width
In order to accommodate as many patients as possible, the Clinnova couch has been designed with a safe working load and lifting capacity 265kg. The upholstery width has also been increased to 70cm and it's fitted with side rails to ensure safety and support.
Adjustable Height, Backrest and Footrest for Enhanced Comfort
To ensure the patient is comfortable as well as ideally positioned for the clinician to perform examinations or procedures, both the head and foot sections can be tilted manually. It has a variable height range between 46cm to 95cm which can easily be adjusted with the hand switch supplied.
Independent Braked Castors (IBC) For Easy Transportation
The castors are 125mm in diameter with a load capacity of 100kg each and for security, each one has a lever that needs to be pressed until it clicks and locks. You can unlock it by flicking the lever upwards but as there's no steering facility on this system, care must be taken around corners and through doorways. It is a popular choice due to it being cheaper than other castor systems.

Unlike many other couches where staples are visible and dangerous, the Clinnova couch features a market leading upholstery backing system with no visible staples. It's made from recycled synthetic material with ultraviolet resistance to sunlight which helps to retain colour. Not only does it look better, it's easier to clean to maintain the highest hygiene standards and also enhances the life of the couch.

To ensure the couch frames are raised and lowered quietly without squeaking, all moving parts of the Clinnova couch are fitted with precision made bearings. They help to prolong its lifespan with minimal maintenance required.
