This manikin is also equipped with rust resistant skeletons and articulated joints for added protection against wear and tear from use during training.
Top Water Rescue
To simulate the rescue of patients from the water's surface, this manikin can be filled in a number of ways that prevent the manikin from submerging fully. To submerge the manikin only to the neck, fill the small holes in the legs and arms with water. The torso may also be filled with water by opening the valve on the shoulder.
Bottom Water Rescue
To fully submerge the manikin for the practice of bottom water rescue, simply remove the vinyl cover and plastic insert in the abdomen and add an additional 2.25 - 4.5kg weight to sink.

How Do I Drain the Water Rescue Manikin?
To drain the manikin of water after use, open the shoulder valve and position the manikin at a slant to facilitate drainage. This will allow the chest cavity of the manikin to drain of water. Do not drain the manikin by turning it upside down. Repositioning the extremities of the manikin will allow water to drain from the holes located in the arms and legs when the manikin is lying on its back.
How Should I Store the Manikin?
To store this water rescue manikin when not in use, you should do so at room temperature. In cold environments, this manikin will harden. When returned to warmer temperatures, this manikin will return to normal flexibility.
