The SpaceKraft Steplite Sensory Room Light Fixture features 12 brightly coloured LED  panels that are sound-activated to produce an engaging spectacle. It is a useful addition to a sensory room, teaching users with autism and SPD the links between cause and effect and vocal stimuli.

Offers a Spectrum of Colours

The high-brightness LED lights can display a truly vibrant range of colours, creating a beautiful coruscating effect that is truly enchanting. Each row of lights can be set to a different colour to enable as many different variations as possible.

Activated By Sound

The Steplite features a sound-activated LED panel that illuminates up to 12 rows of brightly coloured lights. A simple clap of the hands or any form of vocalisation can be used to make the panel come to life, rewarding the user with an impressive display of light.

Integrating the Visual and the Auditory

The Steplite can be set to react to a range of different sounds, including ambient music. This allows you to combine musical and visual sensory experiences into a rich and versatile sensory environment. 

Tailored User Experiences 

There are a number of different variables that can be controlled including the speed of change, the length of fade between changes and the microphone sensitivity settings. This lets you fine-tune the programme for the individual requirements of each user. 

What Colour Display Patterns are Featured?

The total number of variations are too numerous to list, but examples of the different patterns include:

1. Automatic sequence with no microphone response
2. Rainbow display from bottom to top
3. Random display based on microphone input
4. Colours building inwards from top and bottom
5. Colours building outwards from the middle
6. Colours building from left to right

The thin profile of this light fixture is perfect for making the best possible use of available space. The depth of the unit is only 90mm, making it ideal for slotting directly against or into walls.

LED Lights with Exceptional Longevity

The LED lights last for approximately 30,000 hours of use, doing away with the costly process of replacing traditional lights. LED lights also produce less heat, making the Steplite safer to use for extended periods of time.

Suitable for Non-Verbal Users

Thanks to the extremely sensitive built-in microphone even the smallest noise can be enough to activate the lights. The ease of auditory activation is ideal for users who find vocalising difficult, since it means they can still control the lights independently.
