How Does the Topaz Aneroid Sphygmomanometer Work?

The Topaz Aneroid Sphygmomanometer is designed with a combined bellows and gauge tube, which allows for easier operation with one hand. It also features a rotating head, making it ideal for both right-handed and left-handed practitioners, freeing either hand for logging notes.

Like most standard sphygmomanometers, the bellows is squeezed to pump up the cuff, and then the dial will display the pressure. This can then be read with ease to obtain patient readings. To suit different preferences, it features both a trigger button and a screw valve pressure release.

The Topaz Sphygmomanometer is ideal for use by medical professionals, particularly for on-call doctors or medical professionals travelling between clinics. The push-on tube connection also means that no adaptor is required, making it ideal for use on the move.
