Vanilla Blush Beige Unisex Level 3 Hernia Support Belt (26cm)
The Vanilla Blush Beige Unisex Level 3 Hernia Support Belt (26cm) is designed to help patients ease the pain from hernias, and support their surrounding muscles prior to surgery. While it isn't a substitute for formal treatment, support belts can help patients deal with an abdominal bulge or hernia. Each Vanilla Blush Support Belt is low-profile, allowing it to hide easily under almost all clothing.

Key Features and Benefits
- Wearing a hernia belt will help smooth out the appearance of any bulge, making it easier to have some discretion
- Comfortable fabric and design allows for the belt to mould to any bulges, stomas, or hernias without restricting any stoma output
- Soft lining keeps sweating and irritation to a minimum
- Best used in bursts, such as while working out, gardening, lifting, etc.
- For those looking for all-day support, we also provide Vanilla Blush Hernia Support Vests in black and white
Comfortable and Supportive
With a 26cm width, the Beige Hernia Support Belt is a bit wider than alternatives and this provides a higher degree of comfort and support over more of your abdomen. This will help smooth out any hernias you may have, and help you move around more freely.
Adjustable and Inconspicuous
Despite its width, every Vanilla Blush Hernia Support Belt conceals quite nicely under regular clothing. Most hernia belts can be seen quite easily because of their hefty Velcro straps, but Vanilla Blush's supports are adjustable and low-profile, allowing for greater discretion.
How Do Patients Use the Beige Hernia Support Belt?
Putting on a Vanilla Blush Hernia Belt can be done in three ways:
- By inserting your hand into the glove, holding the other end of the belt around your waist, and pushing the Velcro padding shut
- Fastening the Velcro, stepping into the belt – pulling it up, and adjusting for more or less support
- If you already have an established hernia: lie on your back, push your hernia inward to get better support, and fasten the Velcro
Regardless of which way you put it on, be sure to keep the Velcro section away from any stomas to allow it to keep functioning. If your stoma bag needs emptying, simply pull up the belt and allow the appliance to release to be drained, or reapply the belt entirely.
Who Are Vanilla Blush?
Vanilla Blush was founded by former high-end fashion consultant and NHS Intensive Care nurse Nicola Dame in 2008. Her company was founded after she began to suffer from ulcerative colitis in her twenties, and she found that there were not many options for fashionable underwear for ostomates. She's made it her mission to provide supportive, stylish, comfortable, and discreet ostomy underwear for anyone who needs it at an affordable price.
