The Alerta Medical Air Mattress Evacuation Sheet permanently fixes under an alternating air mattress, turning into an evacuation sledge in the event of an evacuation and allowing two carers to swiftly transport a patient into a safe zone.

Which Beds Can This Evacuation Sheet Be Used With?

The Alerta Medical Air Mattress Evacuation Sheet will fit overlay's and deep cell replacement air mattresses with dimensions of 200 x 90cm. This is ideal for most single beds, though we recommend measuring your mattress prior to ordering.

How to Use the Alerta Medical Evacuation Sheet Used in an Evacuation

The Alerta Medical Evacuation Sheet is permanently placed under an alternating pressure air mattress ready for usage in the event of an emergency evacuation. Please read on for instructions on how to use the sheet in an evacuation.

1. Place the foot protector sheet over the feet / lower legs of the user
2. Strap the user in over their chest and legs using the straps of the sheet, but with the arms remaining over the top
3. Remove the air tubes from the pump and apply the transport cap
4. Pull two a safe zone by two operators – one at the foot pulling, and one at the head guiding

Can This Evacuation Sheet Be Used with Foam Mattresses?

This evacuation sledge is not designed to be used with foam mattresses. Please see the Alerta Medical Evacuation Sheet for Foam Mattresses for a compatible alternative.

When Should This Evacuation Mattress Sheet Be Used?
