Emergency Evacuation Sheet

The Emergency Evacuation Sheet fixes permanently to the bottom of a flexible foam mattress. The Evacuation Slide Sheet is kept in place with strong elastic straps. The Emergency Evacuation Sheet is also fitted with safety belts to hold the patient on the mattress. There are pulling straps at each end to pull the Evacuation Sheet and also so that it can be lowered in a controlled manner down stairs.

How Does the Emergency Evacuation Sheet Work?

The slippery slide sheet beneath the mattress allows it to be slid down corridors. Coupled with a flexible foam mattress, the Emergency Evacuation Sheet will allow the mattress to negotiate narrow doorways and stairs.

How Should the Evacuation Sheet Be Operated?

No transferring of the patient is required as the Emergency Evacuation Sheet is constantly in place ready for use in an emergency situation. When not in use, the handles are stored away using pockets. Two people are required to operate the Emergency Evacuation Sheet.

Which Sizes is the Sheet Available In?

The Emergency Evacuation Sheet is available in a Standard and Bariatric (120cm wide) size to match your needs.

Can the Evacuation Sheet Be Used with an Air Mattress?

No, the Emergency Evacuation Sheet is not recommended for use with an air mattress. This evacuation sheet is only suitable for use with traditional mattress types, including foam, pocket spring and hybrid mattresses.

Delivery is free for orders over £65 (ex VAT) to UK mainland addresses. For all other UK orders, delivery is only £4.95 (ex VAT).
