Etac Immedia 4WayGlide Nylon Patient Transfer Sheet (Double Locked)
The Etac Immedia 4WayGlide Nylon Patient Transfer Sheet (Double Locked) is designed to be used with the Etac Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Patient Ajustment Mattress. Together they make moving patients with low mobility around a bed easier and safer.
This model of the 4WayGlide features two locks that keep patients in place and safe until movement or transfer is needed. This extra level of security is ideal for those with serious injuries or degenerative motor neuron diseases, whose can easily slip in bed and further hurt themselves.

What Makes the Double Locked Transfer Sheet Safer Than Most Models?
This model of the 4WayGlide Transfer Sheet features two polyurethane-treated locks that ensure a higher level of security for particularly sensitive patients, such as those with serious injuries or degenerative motor neurone diseases. They have a greater chance of slipping and further injuring themselves so could benefit from the added safety that a double-locking system offers.
How Does the Double Locked 4WayGlide Patient Transfer Sheet Help Carers?
Keeping fragile patients with reduced mobility safe is easier for carers with the Double Locked 4WayGlide. The two locks ensure greater stability when moving patients into a sitting position or further up the bed. The locks are also treated with polyurethane to prevent further slippage. This model is especially good for care home and hospital settings, as even when they are not in the room, carers will know their patients are not dangerously slipping out of bed.
Cleaning Instructions
- This sheet set can be wiped clean with a cloth
- Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 80°C
- Can be cleaned with a solvent-free cleaning agent with a pH level between 5–9, or with a 70% disinfectant solution
- Do not dry-clean or bleach this item
- Do not use fabric softener
- After each wash the cushion should be checked for damage to seems or fabric
