Adult CRiSis Manikin
The five major components of the Adult CriSis Manikin allow for the simulation of a variety of real-world scenarios. The manikin is a complete resuscitation system, designed to help train medical professionals at every level.

What Are the Key Features of the Adult Manikin?
The manikin is designed with modular components, which allow you to create a manikin to suit your specific expectations. Following are the major features of the manikin:
- Airway Management: With suctioning capabilities, separate left and right lungs for auscultation, and many other features
- Blood Pressure Arm: Instructor can determine the systolic and diastolic levels, heart rate and sound volume
- CPR: Fully articulated head, neck and jaw
- Defibrillation Chest: Allows for manual, semiautomatic and automatic defibrillation
- IV Arm: With realistic flashback from a pressurised system
Airway Management
The manikin is compatible with airway management devices including ET, i-gel, EOA, ETL, LMA, EGTA, Combitube, and King Systems. Following is a list of features of the airway management component of the manikin:
- Cricoid cartilage allows for practise of Sellick manoeuvre
- Oral, nasal, and digital intubation capabilities
- Palpable carotid pulse (manual)
- Realistic anatomy of the mouth, tongue, oral pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea, and oesophagus
- Separate left and right lungs for auscultation
- Suctioning capabilities
Blood Pressure Arm
The instructor can determine systolic and diastolic levels, heart rate and sound volume to suit the requirements of the class. Following are the major features of the blood pressure arm:
- The auscultatory gap can be turned on and off
- Five Korotkoff phases can be turned on and off
- Radial pulse
- Speaker in arm reproduces real blood pressure sounds
- Use with an optional external speaker system to broadcast sounds to the entire classroom
CPR Training
The manikin is equipped to assist with CPR training thanks to the following features:
- Fully articulated head, neck, and jaw
- Jaw thrust
- Palpable and visual landmarks
Defibrillation Chest
The manikin is compatible with all major brands and types of defibrillators, monitors, and patient simulators. It allows for training in manual, semiautomatic, and automatic defibrillation. Following are the major features of the chest:
- Internal load box absorbs full strength of every shock - designed to handle up to maximum recommended 360 Joules
- Monitor the manikin like a real patient at four ECG sites and two defibrillation sites
IV Arm
The IV arm allows students to practise inserting an IV. Following are the major features of the IV arm:
- Articulated at the biceps for antecubital and dorsal access
- Bony landmark at the shoulder to identify muscle tissue for intramuscular injections
- Realistic flashback from a pressurised system
- Replaceable skin and veins
Are Any Add-Ons Available?
Both an Adult SmartScope and a Remote Control for Auscultation Training are available. For auscultation training, the instructor selects from a menu of heart and lung conditions by wireless remote control. The student must palpate to identify correct auscultation locations, and will hear different heart and lung sounds as the SmartScope is moved to different locations on the manikin.
