How Do I Use the Cuff?
To find out how to prepare, apply and use the cuff, please follow these four simple steps:
Step One: Prepare Cooler
To begin, fill the cooler to the line and top with ice, placing the insulation disk on top. Connect the blue tube to the cooler and close the lid. Allow up to five minutes for the water to cool.
Step Two: Apply the Cuff
To apply, simply wrap the cuff around your waist, using the Velcro strap to secure.
Step Three: Fill the Cuff
Connect the blue tube to the cuff and open the air vent located on the lid of the cooler. Lift the cooler so that its base is parallel with the top of the cuff, this will allow the cuff to fill with water. Hold this position for around one minute. Close the air vent and disconnect the cuff from the cooler using the metal tab provided.
Step Four: Rechill the Water
To rechill the water after treatment, reconnect the blue tube with the cuff. Raise the cuff so that it is above the level of the cooler, allowing it to drain. Wait one to two minutes for the water to chill before raising the cooler above the cuff to repeat treatment.
How Long Can I Use the Cryo/Cuff for Each Session?
You can use the Cryo/Cuff for up to two hours per therapy session. It is recommended that you wait at least 20 minutes between uses.
Do I Need to Cover My Skin While Using the Cuff?
