The Alerta Modular Foam Mattress 20cm Extension Insert is a premium quality foam insert that extends the length of hospital mattresses by 20cm,an ideal solution for taller patients who are unable to fit in to a standard length hospital bed. The surface of the mattress extension can be wiped clean for optimal hygiene.

Who Can Use the Alerta Mattress Extension?

The Alerta Mattress Extension is designed for use in hospitals and care homes to provide better comfort for taller patients who require extra room in bed. 

Extend the Length of a Mattress

Designed for use in conjunction with the Bed Extension Kit, the Alerta Foam Block Insert extends the length of any hospital mattress. Secured in place at the foot section of the bed, it doesn't diminish or reduce comfort as it simply wedges into place to extend the length of the mattress.

Can The Foam Mattress Extension Insert be Used With Bariatric Patients?

The Alerta Modular Foam Mattress Extension is designed to be used with a standard single mattress, and is not recommended for bariatric patients. If you require an extension that's suited to bariatric patients, please have a look at the Alerta Bariatric Mattress Extension Insert.

Delivery Expectations

This product is usually delivered by 24 hour courier. For orders that are placed before 2pm Monday to Friday, your order should usually be dispatched the same day for next working day delivery.

Delivery is free for orders over £65 (ex VAT) to UK mainland addresses. For all other UK orders, delivery is only £4.95 (ex VAT).

Delivery Charges

Some larger or heavier orders will be couriered to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands or UK offshore islands. In these cases, we may need to contact you to arrange for a courier supplement charge, but only if your order is one that requires a courier and you live in Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands or UK offshore islands.

Delivery Estimations

The delivery expectation for medical supplies on our website is specified on each particular product page. Where a delivery expectation is not stated, we will dispatch the goods as quickly as possible, normally within 24 to 48 hours on working days, so that you receive your medical supplies promptly.
