Which Aperture Size Do I Need?
To find out the aperture of your ostomy device, fold the flange back (shown in image below) to where it's attached to the cloth bag. Measure from one side to the other to get the size you require. This belt is available with apertures of 60mm, 75mm and 90mm.
Note: If your size falls between two sizes, always choose the larger size.
Who Can Use the Comfizz Replacement Front Pad?
Any ostomy patient who wear the Comfizz Two-Piece Support Belt to manage their parastomal hernia will find this incredibly useful to maintain optimum hygiene. Although the belt is supplied with two front panels, extra pads are always handy for unexpected leakages when you haven't had the chance to wash your soiled pads.
Can I Wash the Comfizz Replacement Pad?
Yes, the pad can be machine washed at 30°C. However, it is not suitable for any of the following:
- Bleach
- Dry cleaning
- Ironing
- Tumble drying
