Basic Netted Lifting Sling

The Basic Netted Lifting Sling is designed for use in most common lifting situations, such as sitting transfers between bed and wheelchair. This standard model of sling has been created to lift patients who have poor torso stability but possess good, strong neck control. The airy, polyester net material of the sling can also be comfortably left under a patient after a transfer has been complete.

Sizing Information for the Basic Netted Sling

The Basic Netted Lifting Sling is available in a choice of seven different sizes, and is adaptable to be used in both 2- and 4-point suspension. It is essential to ensure that the width of the Sling Bar is appropriate for the sling size and the patient’s status and capacity.

Please note that though the recommended weight is a guideline, the sling should not exceed a load of 300kg.

The Basic Netted Sling is a functional and comfortable lifting tool designed for common seated transfers from bed to wheelchair, chair to wheelchair, or wheelchair to toilet. The design makes it quick and easy for the carer to apply in preparation for a transfer or a lift.

The sling features separated leg sections, and has a high back that supports the user from the legs and tailbone, up to the top of their shoulders. This gives them them a full sense of security that they being lifted carefully and safely.

Comfortable Polyester Netting

The breathable, polyester net material of the sling has been created so that it could be easily left under the patient after transfer, meaning that the user remains sitting comfortably on the sling until they need to be lifted again. The sling can be laundered as required, withstanding water temperatures as high as 85°C.

Which Hoists Can I Use the Sling With?

This sling is designed with loop fixings. It is designed for easy and secure attachment to all hoists with loop fixing compatibility.

Is The Netted Sling Waterproof? 

The Basic Netted Lifting Sling is water-resistant, meaning you can safely submerge it in water for bathing transferred as and when required.
