The Huntleigh Smartsigns MiniPulse MP1 Pulse Oximeter provides accurate and easy-to-read information on patient SpO₂ and pulse rate levels, but is supplied with only a finger or wrap sensor. This optional Ear Sensor allows the MiniPulse MP1 to obtain readings via the ear of the patient, making it more versatile and suitable for use with a greater number of patients.

What Are the Benefits of the Ear Sensor?

While the Minipulse MP1 is capable of carrying out SpO₂ and pulse readings for a variety of patients, it is not equipped for patients who do not have fingers, or whose fingers are not appropriate for taking such readings. By allowing readings to be taken from the ear, this sensor provides a solution for these patients.
