Extra Long SitWalk for the StandUp Lift
Users of the StandUp Portable Lift Chair will know how quick, safe and convenient it is for helping up patients who have fallen on the floor, with the help of just one carer. The Extra Long SitWalk is a positioning aid that helps single carers move patients onto the StandUp Lift, without any additional strain.
Good Supporting Surface
The Extra Long SitWalk has been constructed from strong and safe polyester, and provides a good supporting surface without pressing into the patient during use. Multiple handles on each side allow flexibility and ensures a good working stance by a single carer as they move the patient onto the Lift Chair.

Safely Adjusting Sitting Positions
The SitWalk is named after the method of moving a user backwards in a chair or wheelchair to a more comfortable seated position. In order to do this, lean the user sideways and gently pull on the SitWalk, moving one buttock at a time to facilitate a hip-hitch movement.
Combining Manual Handling Aids
The Extra Long SitWalk measures at 12 x 245cm and can be used alongside other manual handling aids such as the AntiSlip Slip Prevention Aid to ensure that the user's feet don't slide as they are being moved. The SitWalk can be machine washed up to 80°C. For optimal service life of the product, do not use rinse aid or fabric softener, and avoid tumble-drying.
