Fall Savers Connect Monitor Fall Alert System with Chair Sensor Pad
Looking after an elderly person is a full-time job in which fall-prevention systems can play an important role in limiting the risk of injury. The Fall Savers Connect Monitor Fall Alert System with Chair Sensor Pad is a comprehensive fall prevention system which features a sound alert system as well as a recorded message to remind them not to walk unattended.
This package is a combination of the Connect 50000 Monitor and the Fall Savers Chair Sensor Pad.
What's Included?
Customisable Alert Message
The Connect Monitor features the option to record a message to be played if a floor mat detects someone stepping on it, or if the patient leaves a bed or chair mat. This can be used to remind them not to walk around without help, helping to reduce the risk of injury from unattended falls. The message can be recorded in the patient's native language or by their family member for clear and friendly instruction.
Additionally, the monitor features a choice of eight built-in alert tones, which can be played on their own or in addition to the voice message.
Battery or Mains Powered
Since every care home environment is different, the Connect Monitor has been made to adapt to a number of different needs. For situations where there is no wall socket nearby, the monitor can be powered with the included 9V battery. When the sensor pad will be used close to a wall socket, a mains power adaptor is available for separate purchase.
Nurse Call System Compatible
The monitor can be connected to a range of nurse call or paging systems with the ¼-inch female jack on the side, enabling it to be used to trigger a silent alert. A wide variety of nurse call cables, splitters and adaptors are available, allowing you to customise your monitor to work with whatever existing nurse call system is used in your care home.
Chair Sensor Pad Included
The chair sensor pad included with the Fall Savers Connect floor set is highly durable and rugged, suitable for a range of different environments and conditions. The mat will detect when someone rises up off it and can immediately sound an alarm to alert the individual and nearby carers that they are wandering.
