How Do I Perform the Nine Hole Dexterity Peg Test?

- Test the dominant hand first
- Position the board horizontally with the round container next to the hand being tested
- Explain the test and perform a practice session
- If the person being tested does not understand the instructions, demonstrate the actions yourself
- Next, perform the real test
- Start the stopwatch as soon as the person touches the first peg and stop the watch as soon as the last peg hits the container
- Re-position the unit so the round container is next to the non-dominant hand. Repeat the test for the other hand
