With a completely wireless design, the Lifemax Doorbell System has a 120m range and is pre-paired for immediate use out of the box. This means you can place any part of the system within 120m of the base station for maximum versatility and and flexibility. The main unit can also be either battery or mains powered, providing you protection in whatever way you choose.
How Do I Install Each Item?
Installing the main unit, doorbell and PIR sensor is very easy. Here's a breakdown of how it works:
PIR Sensor
- Mount the sensor at least 1m off the ground. Mount it on a flat surface using a stick pad or the wall plugs and screws
- If you install it more than 2m off the ground, ensure it is pointed downwards to the area that is being monitored
- Ensure it is not blocked by any doors or windows
- Because the sensor detects heat, we suggest keeping it away from heaters, vents, radiators or spotlights
Main Unit
- Ensure the main unit is within 120m of the PIR sensor and doorbell
- Mount it on a flat surface using a sticky pad or the wall plugs and screws
Doorbell
- Install the doorbell using the double-sided adhesive tape included
