Marsden T-210 Wall-Mounted Contactless Thermometer
Designed for quick and reliable contactless readings, the Marsden T-210 Wall-Mounted Contactless Thermometer is ideal for monitoring temperature or employees in a workplace or patients in a medical environment. The Medical Devices Directive (MDD)-approved non-contact thermometer can be stationed at the entrance of a room or building to monitor the forehead temperature of individuals entering the vicinity, ideal for reducing the spread of viruses and bacteria or for protecting vulnerable individuals.

Who Can Use the Wall-Mounted Thermometer?
The Marsden T-210 Automatic Thermometer is designed for mounting onto the wall near the entrance of a workplace, or for use in a medical environment such as a doctor's surgery, hospital, or clinic. When used in a medical room, it allows you to read the body temperature of each patient without any need for physical contact, also allowing you to keep your distance. Similarly, when the thermometer is used in a workplace it allows employees' body temperatures to be monitored in a swift and orderly fashion, providing an indication if anybody entering the building may have a fever.
How Does the Marsden T-210 Thermometer Work?
The Marsden T-210 Automatic Thermometer utilises motion sensors and infrared technology to instantly obtain an accurate temperate reading. Once the individual is stood in front of the device (around 1cm to 10cm away), it takes just one second for the reading to display. The next person can then approach the thermometer, allowing for ongoing quick and easy readings in busy environments.
Does the T-210 Thermometer Alert of High Temperature?
Yes, the Marsden T-210 Thermometer provides an audio and visual alert if there is a high temperature reading. The device will emit 10 short beeps while displaying a red LED if the temperature reads over 37.5℃ or higher. A measurement below this temperature will emit one long beep and display a green LED.
What's the Benefit of a Non-Contact Thermometer?
Unlike traditional thermometers, which are designed to take measurements by directly touching the skin, a non-contact thermometer offers a more hygienic approach that doesn't require any physical contact with somebody who is potentially unwell and carrying a virus or germs. The T-210 Infrared Thermometer just needs to be pointed towards the forehead at a range of around 10mm to 30mm, allowing you to test readings of multiple individuals while significantly reducing the risk of cross-contamination or spreading bacteria.
What Is Considered a High Temperature?
As outlined on the NHS website, a body temperature of 38°C or more is considered to be high. However, if you suspect you may have a fever, even if the reading on the thermometer is below 38°C, it is recommended that you still get in touch with your doctor.
How Is the T-210 Infrared Thermometer Powered?
The Marsden T-210 Infrared Thermometer is powered by either a USB Type C lead or an 18650 lithium lithium rechargeable battery. The fully charged battery should last for around six hours or 300 measurements, ideal if there is no power supply nearby for using the lead. The battery also provides a reliable backup in the event of a power cut.
How Do I Clean the Marsden Thermometer?
The Marsden T-210 Thermometer can be wiped down with a soft, dry cloth. No abrasive cleaners must be used, and the device must never be submerged in water. It is recommended that the thermometer is stored in the box when it is not in use.
