Combining hygiene with convenience and safety, the Medicare Ultrasound Couch ensures ultrasounds and sonography treatments are as comfortable as possible for both the patient and medical professional. The adjustable couch is ideal for use in clinics, hospitals, and medical surgeries, coming complete with an electrically adjustable backrest and a choice of either a manual or electrically adjusted footrest.

Choice of Adjustable Footrests
The Medicare Ultrasound Couch is available for purchase with one of two footrest adjustment options. Select from either a pneumatically powered manual adjustment option or the electrically powered variation.

Electrical Backrest as Standard
Unlike the footrest, the adjustable backrest is adjusted electrically as standard. Simply use the attached control to adjust the angle at which your patient lies depending on their condition and requirements.
Enhanced Patient Safety
The Ultrasound Couch helps to ease ultrasound sessions for patients by boosting their safety and comfort. As the backrest can be adjusted from horizontal to 80°, and with an adjustable tilt into a Trendelenburg position, patients are able to rest at a much more comfortable angle. Not only does this improve their comfort, but it may in turn improve their overall relaxation during treatments, which can then produce more effective and accurate test results.
Safer Access
With a height range of between 52cm and 106cm, the Ultrasound Couch improves safety for both patient and examiner, ensuring patients can access the couch easier and reducing the need for examiners to bend down unnecessarily. The couch is also designed to provide maximum stability throughout all profiling positions, increasing safety during use.
Improved Hygiene
The Medicare Ultrasound Couch has been designed with hygiene in mind. The frame is antibacterial powder coated, making the couch a practical option for medical environments where good hygiene maintenance is paramount to ensuring patient health and safety.
Choice of Footrest Type
The Medicare Couch can be purchased with either manual or electric footrest adjustment operation. Your required option can be selected from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

Available Colours
The Medicare Ultrasound Couch is available in a choice of 15 colours. The following colours are available: Brown, Black, Burgundy, Canard, Cream, Dark Blue, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Lotus Green, Olive, Pepper, Poterie, Red, Sky Blue, and White.
Please note that Dark Blue is the standard upholstery colour, and therefore has a quicker lead time of around 7 to 10 days. If you require any other available colour, there will be a longer delivery time as your item will be made to order. Please see the Delivery tab for more details.
