Micromedical Pulse Oximetry Module (SpO2) SPO6000-STK
The Micromedical Pulse Oximetry Module (SpO2) SPO6000-STK combines a high quality oximeter and sensor in a single unit. It needs to be plugged directly into either of the MicroLab or MicroLoop diagnostic spirometers to produce results.
What Are the Features of This Oximetry Module?
- Quick assessment and continuous measurements
- Includes coloured and textual pulse quality warnings
- Audible warning of abnormal saturation levels and heart rates
- On screen and printout publishing of results and trends available
How Does This Pulse Oximeter Work?
The device will make quick assessments and continuous measurements of Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) and heart rate (bpm) for up to 60 minutes. These are displayed in real time on the high resolution colour touch-screen of your MicroLab or MicroLoop device.
Pulse waveforms are continuously displayed in green, yellow or red. At the same time textual and audible warnings are available to ensure that abnormal saturation, heart rates and pulse artefacts are immediately indicated. Analysis of the results from a continuous test is also possible, as are A4 printouts of results.
What Is the Purpose of This Device?
In conjunction with the diagnostics gathered from your spirometer, the results of this oximeter can be vital in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases. It can also be used to help detect COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in patients.
What Can This Pulse Oximeter Measure?
When combined with one of Micromedical's spirometers, this oximeter can measure:
- Oxygen saturation levels (SpO2)
- Heart rate (bpm)
Which Devices Is This Module Compatible With?
This pulse oximetry module has been designed for use with the following diagnostic equipment:
- The MicroLab Desk Spirometer
- The MicroLoop Handheld Spirometer
