The VACOped features a patented range-of-motion (ROM) adjustable between -15° and +30° which allows for a functional treatment in real equinus position. This leads to faster recovery and as good functional outcomes as surgery would, however without the associated risks and costs.
What is the Equinus Position? The equinus position refers to a downward angle of the foot. When setting and locking the VACOped at 30° the boot is able to treat the injured ankle in this position.
