Permaramp-Entry Flap Threshold Accessory for Permaramp-Adjust Ramps
The Permaramp-Adjust Self-Supporting Wheelchair Ramp is an ideal solution for PVC thresholds that cannot support a ramp alone, as it features self-supporting telescopic legs that can be adjusted with ease. However, where the threshold drops down to a lower level on the other side, it is necessary to bridge the drop to further improve access and to reduce the risk of injury from falls.
The Permaramp-Entry Flap Threshold Accessory can be added to the Permaramp-Adjust Wheelchair Ramp to ease the transition from the ramp to inside the room. It is easy to operate, and will work particularly well with sliding and inward-opening doors.
Hand Strap for Easy Operation
The Permaramp-Entry Flap includes a hand strap for easier operation. This allows the flap to be lifted up or rested flat against the ramp as and when required. As the underside of the flap is constructed from reliable Gripdeck technology, it is safe for use both when folded inwards or fully opened.
Unique Gripdeck Surface
The surface of the Permaramp-Entry Flap features the same unique Gripdeck technology as found on the Permaramp-Adjust Wheelchair Ramp. The multi-directional grip surface allows for safer use outdoors, and the weather-resistant nature of the grip increases both the safety and the longevity of the accessory.
This means that, even if the weather is wet and unpredictable, it can be installed outside. This makes it ideal for use in a garden, in a public space, and even as a temporary solution to otherwise reduced access at outdoor events.
